COMPANY PROFILE
Background
Seri Trading was established in the year 1988 as a sole-proprietorship.
To carry on the business of importing and distribution of TAE-PEE. Instant Tom-Yum Preparation from Thailand.
In view of the popularity of the product and brand name in Thailand, TAE-PEE, represented by a picture of queen crown, was registered as a trade mark in Malaysia and Singapore.
Seri Trading was then appointed the sole-agent for Fish Sauce under the top two brand names of SQUID and TIPAROS from Thailand. The product range was then extended to include Mr. Hung Brand Tempura Flour, Max Chup Brand Stir Fry Sauce/Hot Ketchup, Nang Fah Thai Curry Paste, Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce and Healthy Boy Brand Soya Bean Sauce which is the leading brand in Thailand for which Seri Trading was then appointed sole-agent.
Coverage
As the products distributed by Seri Trading became increasingly popular, sales network via supermarkets was extended throughout Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Subsequently, two branches were also set up in KL and JB to better service the customers.
Customer Base
Supermarket customers were also included in the distribution networks such as Giant group, Cold Storage, The Store group, Bintang group, Aeon group (Jaya Jusco), Millimewa group (Sabah), Tunas Manja group (Kuantan), Econsave group (Klang), Econjaya group, Nirwana group, Eng Hong group, Billion group, Mydin group, Uda Ocean group, Sui Wah group (Penang) etc.
In tandem with the mushrooming of hypermarkets in Malaysia, the whole range of products were distributed to Carrefour, Makro, Tesco, Central (KL), Hero, Serway (KK), Giant Malaysia and outlets of Giant Singapore.
Large manufacturing companies that utilize the company¡¯s products on a big scale in their manufacturing process include KMC Foods (Skudai), Ayamas (Port Klang), Rex Canning (Bukit Minyak), Bidor Kwang Heng (Bidor), etc. In addition, our products are also directly supplied in the form of tub and barrel to leading hotels, coffee house and restaurant throughout Malaysia.

Currently, Seri Trading distributes a wide range of products including Instant Tom-Yum, Instant Vegetarian Tom-Yum, Sweet Chilli Sauce, Dipping for Chicken, Hot Chilli Sauce, Fish Sauce, Tempura Flour, Belachan, Crushed Chilli, Vinegar, Curry Paste, Agar-agar, Bawang Goreng, Sos Ulam, Chilli Paste, Stir Fry Sauce, Pepper Powder, Choko Crisp, Instant Powdered Milk etc.

With its wide range and popularity of its products, the Company has positioned itself as the market leader.
Management
Since its establishment, the business of Seri Trading has been closely and actively run by Mr. Raymond Chuang who has over the years built a strong rapport with the hypermarkets and supermarkets.
Conversion to a Limited Company
To put itself on a stronger footing, the business of Seri Trading was converted into a private limited company under the name Tae-Pee Seri Trading Sdn Bhd on 1 May 2005 with no change in the ownership and Business policies.
